What's on the agenda this month

Discussions on Brexit will dominate Parliament when MPs and Peers return from the summer recess in September with the House of Lords due to debate two key pieces of legislation; the Trade Bill and the Taxation (Cross-border Trade) Bill.
Parliament is set to return on 4th September. The consultation on the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation will close on the next day.
Jeremy Wright, the new Secretary of State, will make his debut at the dispatch box on 6th September, taking questions from Members of Parliament on the issues of digital, culture, media and sport.
Friday 14th September will see the closing The Cairncross Review, which is examining the sustainability of high-quality journalism in the UK.
