Budget Speculation 2018

With the Chancellor due to make his Budget statement at the end of October, the first week of November will see all focus directed around his announcements. The Treasury Committee is due to hold several evidence sessions on the Budget, whilst there will be several debates due in Parliament.

It is speculated that Mr Hammond is to scrap a Conservative manifesto pledge to raise the income tax threshold and reform tax relief on pension contributions.
