DeHavilland EU is proud to sponsor the inaugural European Public Affairs Awards
We’re delighted to announce that this November, we will be providing our support as headline sponsor of the first ever European Public Affairs Awards.
The EuroPAwards are a new celebration of excellence in EU public affairs practice. They feature a diverse range of categories designed to showcase the most effective contributions across the industry, including both in-house and consultancy prizes.
Among the highlights of the evening will be prizes for Trade Association of the Year, Think Tank of the Year, and Ethical Campaigns of the Year. Plus, up-and-coming talent will come under the spotlight for the Most Promising Newcomer category, and the Outstanding Contribution award will offer special recognition to an individual who has served the industry with distinction.
Following DeHavilland’s successful sponsorship of the Public Affairs Awards 2015, this new partnership aims to celebrate the vibrancy of the European public affairs sector.
Since 2010, DeHavilland EU has provided the definitive political monitoring service for European public affairs professionals, working closely with a wide range of clients to deliver the best in actionable insight.
“We are delighted to have the support of DeHavilland”, said Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Director-General Francis Ingham.
“It is a significant indicator. On one hand, it shows we really are doing the right thing for the industry in Brussels by celebrating the best public affairs work and the people behind it”.
“On the other, given this is now the only dedicated award for Brussels, it means we really can reach as many people as possible. Lobbying makes for better policy – we should be proud of that – and therefore we want everyone from the FTSE 100s to the trade associations to share in that pride”.
Reacting to the announcement, EuroPAwards Co-Chief Judge Lionel Zetter said:
“It is great news that DeHavilland have decided to be the headline sponsor for the inaugural EuroPA Awards. There is considerable excitement about these awards in the Brussels public policy and public affairs communities, and the fact that all of the Brussels trade bodies are supporting them has added a great deal to their credibility and reach.
“DeHavilland’s decision to get behind the awards from the outset shows how seriously they take the European market”.
The inaugural European Public Affairs Awards will take place on 16 November 2016 at the Stanhope Hotel, Brussels. We hope to see you there.
